Enrique Colón Jr., CHST, CSST is a bilingual self-directed and solution-focused safety professional offering 6 plus years of experience in residential and commercial construction as well as industrial/petrochemical environments.

In late 2018, Enrique became a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) completing this certification through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. In 2013 he earned his Construction Site Safety Technician (CSST) through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) which paved his way into the safety industry. Amongst these certifications he holds various other safety credentials within his respective field.

Prior to joining SFI, Enrique was a safety manager for one the largest HVAC commercial construction companies within Houston as well as safety manager for one of the biggest scaffolding companies in the industrial/petrochemical line of work.  He is an expert in occupational safety, risk analysis and management with detailed knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards.

Enrique has proven to be a skilled communicator, safety trainer, leader and performer whose everyday goals include effectively driving the safety culture in construction and striving to return every individual on his projects back home to their families the way they arrived.

His knowledge, hands-on experience and passion for the safety industry have allowed him to grow and become a well-respected safety professional. Enrique is based in Houston, TX and has also had the privilege to service multiple clients in different states across the country.
