Enrique Colón Jr., is a bi-lingual self-directed and solution-focused safety professional offering 5 plus years of experience in residential and commercial construction as well as industrial/petrochemical environments. He is a Construction Site Safety Technician (CSST) with the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and holds various other safety certifications within his respective field. Enrique has previously been a safety manager for the largest HVAC Company within Houston and its surrounding areas in commercial construction work, as well as for one of the biggest scaffolding companies in the industrial/petrochemical line of work. Expert in occupational safety, risk analysis and management with familiarization of OSHA regulations and standards, Enrique has proven to be a skilled communicator, safety trainer, leader and performer whose everyday goals include effectively driving the safety culture in construction and striving to return every individual on his projects back home to their families the way they arrived. His knowledge, hands-on experience and passion for the safety field have allowed him to grow and become a well-respected safety professional. Since joining SFI, Enrique has had the privilege to service multiple clients in different states within the country.

In 2014, Enrique was elected to the position of Executive Chief Learning Officer to the American Hispanic Society of Safety Professionals (AHSSP) in Houston, TX. This year, 2017, Enrique has made a commitment to add to his growth and will be pursing his CHST certification with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
