Ken is highly motivated and passionate when it comes to safety. His career in safety has spanned over 20 years in General and the Construction Industries. He started his safety career while serving in the Marine Corp. Once he was Honorably Discharged he went into Oil and Gas. Ken has worked as Confined Space, High Angle and Trench Rescue Technician/Supervisor, Hazmat Technician, and Industrial Fire Fighter. He also worked at Exxon Mobil Baytown, TX for five years as a Site Safety Technician and Job Hazard Analysis Auditor, where he honed his hazard recognition skills. Ken is a Construction Site Safety Technician (CSST) with the National Center for Construction and Research and is currently working towards his Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Ken recently Served as the Risk Assessment Sub-Committee Chair of the Job Site Safety Committee/Homesafe with the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver. Ken is authorized to teach Construction and General Industry OSHA 10- and 30-Hour course in addition to other safety topics.
